Kally Adderkin Hall


After gaining a History degree Kally decided to put her skills to use in the broadcast industry. She began her career as a presenter on BBC radio Bristol and BBC Somerset Sound.

She went on to qualify as a broadcast journalist by completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism. She landed her first presenting role at Channel One Television shortly after graduating.

Kally was the anchor presenter for the stations flagship news programme ‘One at One’. It was during her years at Channel One that Kally first began writing and producing documentaries.

Leading a team of documentary makers she produced and presented  ‘Chris Howes, The West Remembers’. This programme about a west country born mines clearance expert who was murdered in Cambodia was nominated for a BT Media Award.

Her next step led her to USA based Channel Wingspan Air and Space international. As one of the stations lead presenters, she was broadcasting across America.

ITV, Wales later welcomed Kally as a presenter and reporter. She arrived at the station just in time to broadcast up to the minute reports on the devolution of power and the formation of the Welsh Assembly.

Whist working at ITV, she traveled to Belarus to make a series of films about the plight of orphans hidden away and forgotten by a communist regime.

With London calling Kally landed a role as a BBC’s News channel producer and reporter also flitting back to the west country from time to time to present the local BBC Spotlight bulletins.

Kally now works with production companies across the UK making quality programming for network and satellite channels.
